Students "green up" at 21 Acres
school groups immersed on the farm

Several school groups and student organizations have been busy this spring on the Farm.
More than two dozen junior high students from Woodinville Montessori-North Creek Campus worked long and hard at 21 Acres during their recent Immersion Week and with follow-up work days. (photo above)
More than seventy, junior high and high school students from SAS (Secondary Academy for Success) in the Northshore School District visited 21 Acres in continuation of their environmental learning curriculum. Every fall and spring, the students note changes and enhancements which they take pride in being part of. (photo below)

Projects on student work days include: turning and moving soil, weeding and planting on the farm, hauling chips, sifted compost and maintaining trails and native plant areas.

Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Eagle Scouts, 4-H, church groups, honor societies–everyone is getting their hands dirty and learning more about the earth, food and 21 Acres.
