Cultivating Success
In a partnership with the WSU’s Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources (CSANR) Small Farms Team and King County Extension, 21 Acres offers courses for the Cultivating Success Program which provides beginning, existing, and immigrant farmers with planning and decision-making tools, production skills and support necessary to develop a sustainable small acreage farm.

The program provides not only academic training, but also hands-on experience growing food and connects students and community members with farmers and exposes them to real world situations to foster successful small agricultural enterprises. Cultivating Success is funded through grants from Partnership 2020, a Kellogg Foundation Food Systems Professionals Education project, and a USDA Higher Education Challenge Grant.
