Raising awareness for 21 Acres, volunteer, Mandy Cufley, spearheaded the project with the “Come On Let’s Grow” youth art contest to instill in our youth the enjoyment of planting, nurturing and eating freshly grown food in our community.

The contest brought  in more than 200 entries from Northshore elementary students which were showcased throughout the Sammamish Valley for a week in May, 2008.
